Every year Jack runs various Bridge holidays abroad, and weekends on the South Coast, on behalf of The Andrew Robson Bridge Club. Andrew Robson provides his teaching material and excellent set hands which are taught by Jack. Many Yorkshire players have now joined in, as the standard is Intermediate and the atmosphere friendly and relaxing.
The holidays
The programme of holidays includes:

| 17th – 20th April | A Midweek Break to the 4* Grange Hotel, York - non-residents welcome |
| 8th – 15th September | A Sicily Summer Holiday at the 4* Hotel Villa Diodoro, Taormina |
| 9th – 11th November | A Weekend Break to the 4* Millstream Hotel, Bosham, Chichester |
| 23rd – 25th November | A Weekend Break to the 4* Millstream Hotel, Bosham, Chichester |
| 5th – 12th January 2013 | Ski Holiday to 4* Hotel Sonnenburg, Oberlech, Austria |
ARBC Holidays are unique. It is important to stress that they are not aimed at the type of player who likes a serious 24-board duplicate every night; instead the emphasis is on instruction, with a little gentle competition, played in the friendly, social manner that so typifies the ethos of the Club. No partner is needed on an ARBC Holiday.
